A fantastic discovery for me

This is the first of Ellory's book I have read but won't be the last. What a great descriptive writer and story-teller. His way to evoke the deep south is easily on a par with James Lee Burke and his hero's memories of being a Vietnam vet' seem more like autobiography than fiction. A wonderful discovery for me.

Ellory a toujours de quoi surprendre. Si son histoire est bien montée, le contexte psychologique ( la guerre ) semble de trop, un peu tiré par les cheveux. Reste que l'intrigue en elle-même est suffisamment originale pour tenir le lecteur en haleine.
